Timberland boots have been around for many many years. Since the 1970’s in fact. And I have had a pair since I was 12 (and a pair of Caterpillars too). They were my most used footwear at Uni.
I go through phases in wearing them and have loved wearing them again a lot this past winter in Australia, and am still wearing them into spring. Having seen several celebrities, like Cara Delevingne, wearing them again (along with lots of fashion bloggers) I’ve started styling them much more into outfits well beyond jeans – pinafore dress, short skirts and denim shorts.
I love my heels, my ballet flats, loafers and wedges but I also love my Timberlands. As we head into the summer months in Sydney, it will soon be too warm for me to wear them here, but think they will still feature heavily on the streets on Britain, Europe and North America for the northern winter, and I for one look forward to them continuing to be a classic boot in my outfits for seasons to come.
