My regular readers and followers on Instagram will know I do love a beach holiday, whether here in Australia or further afield. As I write this we have been experiencing record hot temperatures in Sydney and across all of Australia, topping over 40 degrees Centigrade (104 degrees Fahrenheit) in the day and not dropping below 28/82 degrees at night.
Spending time at the beach or by the pool is great. I love Moana bikinis but this summer I have two fabulous additions in my beach collection. This one-piece swimsuit is from Myra Swim, an Australian label that started in 2014, and worn by many including the likes of Emily Ratajkowski.
I think Myra Swim has some of the nicest one pieces and bikini sets I’ve seen. Their designs are influenced from the images of the 80’s and 90’s classic cuts and made for a twenty first century modern style. Its great to see these styles back in at the beach.
The designs are so clean and simple which I absolutely love. I’m only just over 5 feet tall so I have to be so careful with clothes, swimsuits and bikinis, and I was a bit worried how this would look on me (after seeing so many six feet plus models wearing it) but I was so pleased when I first wore it to the beach. And it got a big thumbs-up from my hubby!
I’ve got the Elle swimsuit in chocolate colour and love it. I now keep looking at which other colours I like! And its a real incentive to stick to my work out routine – you can’t hide in this when you’re at the beach.
I hope the summer continues in Australia for another couple of months so I can continue to wear this one-piece. In my other 2017 beach favourites post, Endless summer, I talk about my favourite bikini for the season.
Thanks for reading. Have a great week and I would love to know what you think.
