The festive jumper for Christmas in the sun
Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year. Ever since I was a little girl I have enjoyed wearing a Christmas jumper over the festive season.
Now living in Australia, and Christmas being in the middle of summer, I obviously haven’t been able to wear my Christmas jumpers. (Remember Bridget Jones – well that’s me!)
So how wonderful that back in 2015 the Australian version of a Christmas jumper was launched – the Ugly Christmas Rashie. I think this is such a fabulous idea by the Cancer Council.
The Ugly Christmas Rashie ensures that Australians and those celebrating Christmas Down Under can stay ‘on-trend’ in the sun, have fun, and stay skin safe with all proceeds going to the Cancer Council and the fight against skin cancer. Brilliant! And it is rated UPF50+.
The Ugly Christmas Rashies have now been launched for Christmas 2017. There is a light blue version featuring cockatoos. And the original from 2015 is back featuring kangaroos, Christmas Trees, snow and reindeers in blue and red.
The range is unisex and has adults and children’s sizes. My whole family has been kitted out for December – my hubby, the two children and me. We’ve already been wearing ours to the beach in Bondi and Coogee and also to the pool.
These rashies are limited in number so whether you are Australian, resident or on holiday in Australia, heading here for Christmas or just want one for next summer in North America, Europe or the UK, check them out today and get one ordered.
With two in every three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer in the lifetime, sun safety and support for the skin council is critical. I am very proud to be supporting them this year, looking festive on the beach and protecting the whole family at the same time.
