Welcome to this new vintage-inspired womenswear brand
There is a fabulous new brand out, that has just launched its first collection for the spring and summer 2018. It is called Adelina Casini and I love it.
For Sara, the owner and designer who is based in Dubai, her vision is now a reality. It’s here and it’s just fabulous! I hope she is proud.
The spring and summer collection consists of dresses and separates – perfect for those sun-drenched destinations.
As I mentioned, Adelina Casini is a vintage inspired ladies wear that incorporates very feminine silhouettes from the 1950’s with the most luxurious natural fabrics. I have been very fortunate to collaborate with Sara, and have had the wonderful opportunity to wear some of her designs whilst on holiday in Singapore recently. You know what you are wearing, looks good, when you are heading out to dinner and strangers approach you to ask where your dress is from!
Browsing through her selection I noticed that her collections tend to focus on colour and the most exquisite tailoring. I can assure you, the garments are manufactured to the highest quality and the design flatters the woman that desires tasteful and elegant clothing. Adelina Casini exudes this.
The brand has a purpose…to wear pieces that have a classic silhouette without compromising on quality. This is radiated throughout the Adelina Casini collection.
The colours are bright whites, soft rose and muted greys, with a pop of red. The label draws inspiration from vintage Italian glamour and this is reflected in the collection. All of the garments have been made from a premium cotton or silk, sourced from Europe, then made in England. After wearing their dresses in Singapore I can assure you they are prefect for balmy locations.
The designs are classic. They will never date or go out of fashion, since the styles are very feminie, sophisticated and beautiful.
In the photos below I am wearing the Christie Shirtwaister – Brodarie Anglais dress, which is made from brodarie anglais cotton, it’s fully lined with mother of peal buttons. It has a concealed side zip closure, which gives the dress the perfect silhouette (and makes it easy to get on and off!) and a gorgeous belt, all in the same material. Plus it is completeyly machine washable, which is always a bonus! I love the white needlework technique in the fabric, incorporating features of embroidery, cutwork and needle lace…this is very English. Expect to see me wearing this a lot as the Australian summer approaches. The dress is just so feminine, tailored and elegant. Here is a direct link to the dress.
