So Autumn has arrived in Sydney, with a light scattering of golden leaves on the floor, the occasional rainy day and a bit of cloud around. But generally, it still feels as warm as a hot summer’s day back home, in the UK.
The children went back to school last week after a two week break, which means I have a few hours each day to get back to the blog, and to start thinking and planning for Australian fashion week.
I’ve started to sort out my autumn and winter wardrobe, with some of my favourite coats and knits (which I have had for many years) along with a few new items from this seasons collections. All at the same time, as watching the great summer collections from the northern hemisphere.
But it is still too warm to wear coats or even jackets. I am still wearing dresses and tailored shorts.
In this outfit I am wearing a dress which can see you through all seasons. A beautiful white lace dress, black ankle boots; accessorised with a black fedora. When it gets cold I can pair it with a black blazer. I also love to wear this dress with my leather biker jacket.
This outfit sees me through the day, right through to the evening, heading out for a lunch with the girls or hubby or evening drinks.
So on that note, I hope the warm days continue. But when it does get cooler I look forward to sharing my coats and knits with you.
