New swim wear for days at the beach
It’s the height of the summer here in Australia, and having just returned from a month in the cold English winter and a week in Canada, I am excited to be hitting the beach again, and wearing summer clothes.
With so many great Australian swimwear designers that are growing overseas, it is wonderful to have so much choice. I partilcurly like this seasons’ collections from Australian brands Miesis Swimwear, Ossix Swimwear, Moana Bikini and Myra Swim.
This summer I have added two new pieces to my beach swim collection – both from Aussie brand Myra Swim.
Last year I wrote about a one-piece from Myra Swim (link to post here). I still love wearing it, but I am excited about these two different pieces from their new collection.
I think Myra Swim has some really nice one pieces and bikini sets. They are influenced by the styles of the 80’s and 90’s with classic cuts and cheeky backs. It is great to see this style being worn by more and more ladies at the beach.
As I have mentioned before, being just over 5 feet tall its not always easy to get a style that suits me.
A onepiece and a bikini
The first is a Milan one-piece swimsuit in navy. I really love the cut of this and am so pleased they made it in blue – my favourite colour. The high cut is flattering and its fun at the beach. I love this one!
The next is the bikini. The Gene Top and the Cindy Bottoms – both in lavender. The top really pulls you in and has padding which makes it so flattering with the knot and bow at the front.
The bottoms are high cut with a high waist (like most things from Myra). They are good at lengthening my legs!
I am going to be wearing these a lot in the coming months and will share more photos on Instagram (hopefully when I am a little browner). Here’s to a long summer!
Thanks for reading. Have a great week and I would love to know what you think. Here is a link to the Myra Swim website.
