I love a good graphic tee. They are comfy and fun, and although this post is about how to style them, there is no right or wrong way to wear them. It’s all about personal choice.
So I am sharing some of my favourite statement tees and ways that i love to wear them. I know that the designer tees can be expensive but from my point of view I wear them regularly, so I feel I can justify the investment. I have been trying to build a nice collection in my wardrobe over the past few years.
So here are some of my favourite ways to wear them – from edgy to lunch with school mums:
This is one of my favourite winter looks in a oversized graphic t-shirt with a leather skirt, patterned tights and biker boots. The t-shirt is from Anine Bing, skirt from Hollister, tights from Gucci and boots from Jimmy Choo.
This is another way I’ve styled a large logo tee this autumn and winter so far. A band t-shirt with a tartan skirt, thick black tights and combat boots and a pom pom hat. This will also be perfect for spring and early summer (without the hat and tights). You can make this as different or as comfy (and safe) as you like. The t-shirt and skirt are from TopShop, the hat and boots from Decjuba, and the tights from Marks and Spencer.
Here is the AC-DC t-shirt paired with some leather look drop crotch trousers and trainers from and easy casual look. Trousers from Decjuba and trainers from Gucci.
This is what you will catch me in day to day in summer. Its a real favourite of mine. Shopping, lunch with hubby, a coffee catch-up with the girls, mummy-daughter days as it ticks all the boxes for me – a large logo t-shirt (very oversized) with a gingham skirt. T-shirt and trainers from Gucci and skirt from TopShop.
Smart casual with a blazer, boyfriend jeans and healed boots. I wore this so much in the autumn months in Sydney. T-shirt from Gucci, jeans from G-Star, blazer from Cue and boots from Jimmy Choo.
Thank you for reading. You will be seeing me wear these and other statement tee outfits throughout the year on Instagram. I would love to know how you wear your statement tees so please leave me a comment or message below.
